1974 TCS on BaT

I think this is a nicely done restoration (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-lotus-europa-twin-cam-12/). I wish while they had it apart that the dash had been replaced or restored but over all, it's pretty nice.

Yeah but he put a couple of switches and lights in its place - one for fuel pump and one for radiator fan (see picture 148). Unfortunately, he doesn't explain them.

This car went for $31,000. I think that was pretty good for the seller. It was a pretty clean car but the dash veneer was cracked which detracted from it a bit for me and replacing a dash is not for the light of heart. The upholstery was upgraded to leather and cloth which is a nice touch. All in all, it was a pretty nice car, silliness with the radiator fan and fuel pump switches notwithstanding.

That's a really pretty color and a very nice car! Is that a factory color?

The auction lists it as dark red. It looks like it could be “Legacy Red.” See if you think so by looking it up in the “Factory Paint Codes” section on the Home page of the forum.
