Might want to investigate a 2004-5 5 speed Porsche Boxster shifter. Nice cables and shifter box.

Here’s the shifter I used:



Removed it from the metal frame and “hung” it with spacers from inside the chassis.  Then used the rear chassis “diaphragm” to mount the cables.  Get the shifter with the used cables as the ends come in handy.  Some truck shops can make up custom cables to your specs.
