Good Sunday Drive
« on: Sunday,June 05, 2022, 02:49:14 PM »
Well...beautiful Sunday morning.  No wind, no rain, wispy clouds, no traffic.

Now, if only I could get the camera not to focus on the windscreen and show the road in front..it would have been a perfect photo.  Nice clear shot of my windscreen wiper base, eh?  I'll get around to polishing it...but been busy with reupholstering the seats with the new covers from lotus-supplies (still need to do the headrest...but no split seams anymore...just put the old one on to see how it turns out).

But this was at the Fish Rd. exit on RI Rt. 24 South towards Portsmouth/Newport.  https://www.google.com/maps/@41.6443624,-71.1839447,16z

LOL.

The buggy didn't let me down.  And except for the few oil leaks (still and yet)...she didn't.

 😁 Did you say, polish?
That stainless shines up really nice.

That is the best shot of a windshield wiper I've seen!!!

Glad you had a nice drive! Looks like a perfect day for it!

Wiper is great! Wow, so jealous, you have 2. Hopefully the other one is as shiny. Great to see you out playing in one of our favorite cars.

Ray has them:

SpeedBlade 16" wiper blade for Europa with 7mm (.276") arm
The SpeedBlade has a wire frame to help prevent wiper lift at high speeds.
Ref. 54M6037Z  $56.00 each

I think (?) I may have a couple in my stash but won't be back in PA where a lot of my bits are until the end of this week; can check if you want.  They're obviously used...so the price may be a bit less...;)
