That dashboard has travelled the world so much you'd think someone should be getting some frequent flyer points.  ;D

And it's unmarked, believe or not.  Well...it's 275 miles from its intended home (got delivered to my PA house), so, it's not quite there yet, but close.  Love the burl on it...think it's going to be just the cat's meow when I install it (along with a new upholstered eyebrow and new seat covers.)  If I can appropriate a Britishism "I'm well chuffed" with the acquisition.

Couldn't get a really good look at it but I'm a big fan of burl so I bet it's gorgeous!

Was the burl standard on the TCS?
I'm expecting it might be since the idea was to move the TCS up a notch in terms of luxury . . and burl is more associated with that.

I don't think Oz got any TC/TCS's from the factory back in the day though there's a few have found their way here since.

I believe the original dash was walnut veneer. Whatever it was, the grain was much more pedestrian than burl, but if I remember it was in line with other wood dashes of similarly priced cars of the time.

If memory serves, the dash on the GKN 47D 'gentleman's express' that Ben Levy has was burled wood.  Would love to see that car in person...
