« on: Thursday,February 03, 2022, 11:13:01 AM »
Just a few seconds of video of a JPS in a newly produced promo for Ragtops & Roadsters.  I've talk them up in the past.  Not cheep but they have history and a great crew.

I was wondering how I missed it too! It was a pretty example. I noticed the terrific fit on the door! I'll revisit my doors (again, someday) to get them closer to those.

Not cheap is an understatement.  They are good, but...you have to have Marianas Trench depth pockets.  If I had an S1 E-Type with matching numbers...that's where I'd go.  For a Europa?  IIRC about 15 years ago, they did an absolutely beautiful Type 14...no expense spared.  And it was close to 100K.  Worth it?  I'm not sure that even today the price of a 14 is there, even 15 years later (which would class the car as an 'older restoration' probably in need of freshening.

I've seen their work, it's nice.  But for our little beasties?  Not denigrating what they do, just my perspective.

It still looks perfect and gets driven. I was next to it at last years British Invasion at Stowe, it got first place again.
