Chrome plating
« on: Tuesday,October 26, 2021, 05:48:22 AM »
Just for interest in case anybody is thinking about it. I just dropped off my bumpers at Sandys Bumper Mart in Syracuse NY. An old school ,father and sons operation. The bumpers were undamaged apart from a couple of small tweaks at mounting holes. $390 each plus $35 each to weld up the old license plate holes. 3 to 4 months turnaround and they are not to keen about return shipping after several damaged shipments cost them dearly!

Sounds about right. I got hit with a Florida hazardous material disposal fee of $100 on top of that.
The point, it’s well worth it .
