Transaxle Oil Amount Question
« on: Sunday,September 05, 2021, 12:18:40 PM »
Most likely it’s because I don’t know how to do a proper search but “Fill to the hole” is too ambiguous for me to know how much gear oil I need to order.

Does anyone know how many quarts a U.S. R16 S2 holds ?
Yes, it's work...   No, I don't mind it.

Stock transaxle?

3 imp. pints / 1.75 litres / 3.6 U.S. pints

Buy 2 x 1 litre bottles. Drain all the old oil into a tray. Put the drain plug back and make sure the drain plug is tight. Fill oil  in the side level hole until it comes out. You should have a little left in the 2nd bottle.

:pirate: Thank you all.  Glad I didn’t buy a gallon.  Ordered 2 80-90 quarts.
