Release bearing housing connection to fork
« on: Wednesday,February 10, 2021, 08:08:49 AM »
Hi
Just got back the 5 speed gearbox from my reconditioner and just noticed that he had disconnected the release bearing housing from the fork. The problem is he didn't reattach it and didn't give me back whatever was used to attach the two parts. The workshop manual doesn't show me what's missing, can some tell me please? Photoattached
Thanks
John

Relax - I believe it is all there.  :) He has simply not re-attached the spring. I will send you a photograph this evening so as you can better understand.

John - here you go.  :))Enlarge the photo's if you have to - but I think they will readily show the simple problem you have.
At the moment the release spring, note: (they are strong...!!!) on your assembly is doing nothing.
