Reproduction S2/TC tail light lens

There's a company in the Los Angeles area capable of reproducing the tail light lenses for the S2 and TCs called Aftermarket Reproductions. I contacted the company and sent them the lenses from my TCS. According to Yolanda, the person I'm in contact with, they can reproduce the Europa lenses but it will require a sacrificing a couple of original lenses to make the molds.  If I'm reading her explanation correctly, the red clear flat section will have to be ground off to get to the inner red and clear reflectors.

I'm not willing to sacrifice my pristine unobtainable  lenses for the cause.

I'm putting this request out to the Europa community. If you have a ratty but intact rear lens(s) just sitting around in your parts bin, and willing to donate it to this project, I'll send it to Yolanda for evaluation. If it's not usable I'll ship it back to you. If it is usable, you'll be in the Europa owners hall of fame for your contribution. The most important criterion is having the flat red and red/clear reflector sections intact for removal. As a last resort,  I'm willing to buy the lens (for a sane price).

Finally my disclaimer. I have no financial interest in this company or products. I just want a source of replacement lenses for my Europas and Elans and am willing to do the leg work to make this happen.

Did you see the price per unit? I doubt that they have the Federal version of the lights.

They list both the three color and two color lenses. I was mistaken because the two color lenses are in stock for 168 British Pounds (I had looked at the three color which are out of stock and listed for 198 British Pounds - probably because I modified my car to take the three color). Pretty pricey but I would imagine cheaper than having some made.

I must be blind. Page two only has the red and amber colored lenses for the Europa. I don't see the all red lens anywhere. I tried to print screen the page but was over the kb limit to post.

Oops!!! You're right! I guess I'm so used to mine I didn't notice that they all had the yellow turn signal and the standard lens had only red and white. My apologies!!

I don't remember exactly what I did when I upgraded mine. I think I ran a wire from the hydraulic brake switch for the brake light and separated the brake  from the turn signal. It wasn't that hard (at least when the car was taken apart!  ). I think I would make the change and use the three color lens (when they become available).

The Golden Gate Lotus Club lists the tail lights as coming from a Jaguar E type. Maybe a vintage Jag parts place has the red/white ones.

The idea of this exercise is to provide a source of tail light lenses for our cars. Unless I'm mistaken, all red NOS lenses have not been readily available for years. If you wanted to replace a broken tail light, you had to buy used or go with the euro style.
