"Oops" Sorry Guys!

As many may have noticed this morning the forum was down. It turns out that you must pay your hosting service every year...which I forgot. It expires every September 30..SO if you don't pay , it is suspended on October 1st.

Thought it might be something like that. I for one would be happy to make a contribution if it helps, I'm sure it wouldn't be as much as the site saves me! (Apart from convincing me to buy a Europa in the first place!).

Would you like to to set an alarm to send you a message on September 25th to remind though to pay the fees  .

Hi Joe,

Phew ! when I logged on first thing (UK time that is) and got the "nope, you can't see this page" message I wondered if it had been hacked or it was relying on solar power to run the servers.....

Being serious, as some others have indicated there would be absolutely no problem in financial contributions, other forums do it and I think we all get loads of pleasure from this one. If not for paying the hosting service, perhaps we could pay for a calendar for the den ?

Phew! I thought all our Europa mojo was lost in the ether. I too am happy to pitch in to keep this forum running. Actually, maybe you should schedule occasional outages to remind us how much we appreciate your efforts, Joe!

Count me in. Joe, you deserve all the respect we can give. How much is the hosting service fee? A Canadian loonie per member might go a long way to defray your costs.
