i have an s2 federal and it has 185/70r13 it rubs just a bit at full lock on passenger side but not driver side i also noticed some play in my rack and pinion the bushing on passenger side was worn im in the process of changing it could be the cause of rubbing

also i continued searching for tires
and found a place in long beach california that as
pirelli centurato they said they have them in stock
3 to 5 days shipping
delivered at my door 730 us  so 961 canadian plus duty

Some of the reissue tires are crap.  I can’t comment on the Pirellis but the Michelin XAS tires I ordered in were hideously expensive and literally the worst tires I have seen in 35 years of wrenching.  Way, way out of round, and not true either.  They were just scrap so I flogged them off for $50 each with an explanation of how bad they were.

I was running 185/70 13's when I first put my car on the road but had rubbing issues at the front.  One reason was the wheel offset, but the other issue was the overall diameter as it rubbed on the toe board.  I've since switched to 185/60's, but it reduced the ground clearance and has increased rpm at speed (smaller diameter).  If I were to do it again, I would go for 175/70's in the front and 185/70's in the rear (S2 with a Zetec so a bit more weight in the back).

i really like the falkens 185/60r13 i know it will fit i compared the size to my 185/70r13 so
when you look at both of them side by side it is a huge difference i should have brought my spare witch is 175/70r13 maybe it would have made the falken look like a better fit
i can always go back with my spare to compare
