I have an NG3 from a diesel Espace in my Europa, see attached pics for the linkage, sorry it's not as clear as I would have hoped.
The rod that comes out at 90deg to the axis of the box, in a similar position to the standard 336, is the only one that actually selects gears, again in a similar fashion to the 336 box. The rod that comes out the back of the box with a triangular lever attached to it serves to move the internal selector rod across the gates, ie R - 1/2 -3/4 and 5th gears. It has a mechanism that works rather better than simply pushing/pulling the other selector on the side of the box (ie 336 style) making the action lighter for the driver.
The triangular piece of ally is attached to the triangular arm that comes out of the rear of the box and in my arrangement both selectors work to move across the gate, but only the side rod actually selects gear.s that's probably as clear as mud, but the picture might help.
Tricky to set up, start at the gear shifter and work back through the system making sure all parts can move to the fullest extent without binding at the rod ends or touching the chassis. Movement across the gate is critical to being able to select both reverse and 5th. Finally make the bits at the rear t suit the travel you end up with. Took awhile on mine..
