Great update video. It's interesting that he made even more enhancements to the car.

I have to say (and this is not a criticism) I'm not sure I can call it a Europa because it's been changed so much but so much of it came out so good! John is a lucky guy on so many levels! Boy, it's really loud! Especially up in the 8000 rpm range!

John is a member of this forum (7upJohn) though sadly he hasn't participated for some time, and gave some details of his early experiences with the car here: http://www.lotuseuropa.org/LotusForum/index.php?topic=338.0. You'll have to get through a lot of discussion about the episode of Overhaulin and that car.

Here is the second of two Overhaulin episodes devoted to John's car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AGknF9L-O8&t=13s. For some reason, I haven't been able to find a good copy of the first episode with his car.

Here's another video of John's car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tw3iL-nBY80&feature=youtu.be

:) It's light and handles like it's on rails.  That is enough Europa DNA for me.

That's a fair point, 'madness. Might we say it's a Europa on steroids? Or Europa, the next generation? Or maybe, Europazilla?

BDA: The exterior aesthetics are to nice to call it Eurozilla.  Europa on steroids sounds about right.  But if it is on steroids, it would have a really tiny driveshaft.  :-\
