There are plenty of options for new dashboards.  Here's a couple of US based suppliers -

http://www.prestigeautowood.com/
https://cgautowood.com/

Crashpads are bit more tricky, you could try calling Dave Bean and R.D. Enterprises to see if they have something

http://davebean.com
http://rdent.com

Or you could buy one direct from the UK. I thought this looked good value -

I'm not familiar with CG Autowood. From their website, they appear to be good. I got my dash from Prestige Autowood and I am super impressed it. It is really stunning! He finishes all the edges and both sides to keep moisture out of the plywood. He has a choice of several veneers and he is willing to do custom work. I had an extra hole cut for an oil temp gauge and and glove box door.

I don't think original style crashpads are still available. I think they are all molded ABS or fiberglass now rather than the vinyl covered foam crashpads of old. Dave Bean and r.d. enterprises should be able to help you out and in addition, Lotus Supplies Ltd. (nee "Europa Engineering", "Banks Service Station", or just "Richard" at http://www.banks-europa.co.uk/welcome.htm) also sells crash pads. In fact they also sell dashes. While Europa Engineering's quality is usually good, I'm not familiar with the detail of their dashes. I think finishing all sides and edges is important and if considering them, I would certainly ask about that.

I want to thank BDA and Gideon for taking time out of their day to reply to my post.
I contacted Paul Matty {https://paulmattysportscars.co.uk/product/europa-crashpad/} and their price of 150 pound was a great deal for the crash pad the only down side is that they quoted me 120 pounds for shipping which killed the deal for me.

Thx
Alan

Hi:

I would suggest contacting Europa Engineering (aka Banks Europa)

http://www.parts.banks-europa.co.uk/orders_frame.htm

or

SJ Sportscars

https://www.sjsportscars.com/

I would hope their shipping costs would be lower. I think that there are two types of crash pads available.   One is a fiberglass base with a stitched vinyl cover.  I think the other is just a plastic or fiberglass cover.  Both will require some trimming to fit.

I know the one that Banks sells is a fiberglass base with a stitched vinyl covering.  You will have to trim the base and fit the cover.   This is the one I bought and installed in my car.   I figured out a way to install it with the windshield in place.  Sorry, I can't help with the removal with the windshield installed, my original crash pad was already gone.

I don't know about the one the SJ Sportscars sells.

Good Luck
Sherman

Alan, I have a Banks FG crashpad that I've been messing with to fit my TCS. I'm almost satisfied with the result but not quite. You're welcome to see if you can make it fit your car. I'm about a 2 hour drive from Warner Springs, 12 miles SW of Temecula. Send me a PM if you want to try it.

I have just bought 3 crashpads from SJSportscars

https://www.sjsportscars.com/

They are completely differently made to the Banks ones.

SJ ones are hollow plastic injection mouldings and look very well thought out and made.

Banks ones are just like the originals, expanded foam with a vinyl covering that is very hard to fit.

Until I fit the SJ ones, I don't know how easy they are to fit, and how they look, but the are very light, and very simple. Chunky would be pleased.

SJ do other things which I have not found elsewhere, so they are well worth looking at to compare prices, and to find unobtainium.

Could you post a few pictures of the crash pads so we have a better idea of what they look like? There is only one picture on the SJ web site that doesn't really give an indication of how they are made. Thanks!

The photo on the SJ webside shows the black plastic top which has the demist vents needing to be cut out to fit the grills, which they sell.

Any photo that I could add would be of the bottom, which is just black plastic to the same profile as existing.

There is no foam infill, just the top and the bottom in black crinkle finish plastic, as existing. all I could dd it a photo of the hollow middle,
