WTB TC front sway bar

From what I've read, these are 3/4" diameter and will work on an S2.

Yes, the TC front anti-roll bar is 3/4". Addco sells sells a replacement (but I'm not sure if they do anything with the drop links). The TC anti-roll bar should work fine on an S2 with the proper drop links.

Thanks. I was looking at Dave Beans catalog and it seems that just the bushings on the vertical links are different. The vertical link had the same part number.

Installing a thicker anti-roll bar will increase understeer, all else being equal.
Just so you know.

The front sway bar on a tc is 5/8”.  The Addco bar is 3/4”.  Only the bushing size changes to install different diameter bars.  RD sells them.

I have a stock, 5/8” tcs bar I am willing to sell.

5/8"... hmmm. My TCS has a 3/4" bar and the TC parts manual gives the same part number for all TC anti-roll bars... I thought the S2 has a smaller bar than the TC - if I'm correct, it's no doubt 5/8" so I'm confused why the bar on your TC is 5/8"...

Thanks Gavin. Yes, that's what I'm looking for. It is about as modified as it gets. I have an SLA rear suspension. Front spring rate is already 250 and don't want to go higher and don't want softer in the rear as it will rub.

I measured my bar and it is .550".

Pfreen, have you measured your 5/8" bar? I found a sway bar calculator and will see what a 5/8 bar "should" do. 3/4 would be better. I have a week and a half until the next autocross to get it sorted.

Oh, cool.
Be interesting to hear how it goes.

Ok.  I measured my oem bar which is .701”in diameter.  I stated it was 5/8” because Rd Enterprises states the bushing sizes for the s2, tc and elan +2 are 1/2”, 5/8” and 3/4”.  Check out the website.

The Addco bar which I bought from Summit is .764” in diameter.

The part number is ACO-880 and cost $137.38 with free usa shipping

I'm interested in the .701" OD bar.  The .701" more than doubles the rate. .764" is more than three times and may be more than I need, not sure yet  but it's a big jump.

I posted a video of the run from last week here.
