"1973 Lotus Europa needs new home with TLC

 
 Disabled by broken left front suspension, broken water pump, rusted gas tanks, and many other faults. I have to move from Annapolis, Maryland, to North Carolina and I have no way to bring it with me. It has a four-speed transmission, but I also have a five-speed gearbox and shift linkage. I bought it in 1975 from first owner and have not had time to work on it for years after the water pump went up. It has been outside for much of its life and has since deteriorated. I cannot bring myself to junk it and I am hoping to find someone who has the time, energy and money to restore this beautiful piece of Lotus history. I was supposed to tomorrow (Sat), however got an email from owner earlier this week stating it was sold.   Crazy since seller told me the earliest he could possibly meet at the location where car was to look it over was tomorrow, so I guess the new buyer made a full price offer over the phone or by email sight unseen?   I wish the buyer luck since a new frame will be in order and a complete restoration as well.   Oh well, you win some and you lose some.
