I have a 1972 Twin Cam engine with Stromberg carburetors for sale. The engine came out of my Europa that I am restoring as I am replacing it with a weber head engine that is being built by Quicksilver Race Engines.
This engine went thru a full rebuilt in 2002 due to the car sitting in a garage for 25 years without being run. At the time of the rebuild the car & engine had 5,367 miles on it. The engine was completely stripped down, the block bored, new pistons & rods (.30 over for the pistons), head rebuilt, all new bearings, timing chain, clutch & pressure plate, carbs and water pump rebuilt. Total bill was $4,841.07 (I have a copy of the receipt). Following the engine rebuild, the car was put into storage again, but run every month to insure it was kept in good condition. In 2013 he had the carbs rebuilt and a compression test done.
When I bought the car in 2016 it had 5370 miles on it (according to the odometer, I have no idea what is reality, but it was evident the car was not driven very much). Engine started right up and ran very well when I got the Europa.
TC engine comes with the cross pipes, airbox and filter canister, exhaust manifold, clutch, pressure plate and flywheel.
Will not ship! Must pick up at my garage in Princeton, NJ.
