A modern twist on an old spoiler

Finished my modern equivalent front spoiler/splitter today. This item is made up of two items. A Seat Leon Cupra R front spoiler (shortened by 100 mm) and a roll of universal rubber splitter seal. Very easy to do and only £55. I know this is not in keeping with the original and I’m sorry to the purist out there but in my humble opinion this is a great modern alternative to the chin spoiler.

Like someone on the Mini forum said to me about my MK1 Cooper S, as long as there is an original version of your car somewhere that people can see (like in a museum or private collection) who cares what you do to YOUR car.  Enjoy it.  Well done.  I'm all about ingenuity and creativity.

If you know anything about my car, you know that I'm in HelpMyLotus' camp (though I appreciate and respect the purist's point of view!).

That spoiler looks nice and it looks like it was pretty simple and inexpensive to construct. You should also be able to take it off without much problem which should help the purists!
