I need to replace my door hinges.

Question - has anyone tried the brass door hinges from Banks?

See the attached for a pic

I have them. I can't compare the effort required to adjust the doors between the original Lotus system and Richard's brass hinges but I suspect, in spite of my less than spectacular door adjustment (one is pretty close and the other is not but will latch securely at least! - fixing that will be my next project!), I think they are a big improvement, if for no other reason than that you can take the door off and only worry about adjusting the height - none of the other adjustments will change, but they seem like they'd be easier than the original system.

Obviously brass will not rust like the original hinges. r.d. has a set of stainless steel hinges in the same style as the original system if you want to go that route.

I have them, too. Still quite fiddly to adjust, but they are works of art!

I have them on mine as well.  They are a treat to work with and are a big improvement over the stock set-up.
