After installing the doors, you bet I‘m paranoid!

I’m surely going to end up in Europa perdition as I fit large door speakers to my S1.  One completely unexpected benefit is that, apparently, you can hear sound through them: music, books on tape, FM radio (AM? You’ve got to be kidding), what-have-you; quite amazing really.  However, that’s not why I fit speakers to the doors.  I did it because it makes fitting and adjusting the doors actually a breeze.  Access to the door hinge gibbons and adjustment nuts is great and small adjustments are easily made: a highly recommended mod.

Also, just yet another big thumbs up for the Banks brass hinges: best outrageous amount of money I ever spent.  Vertical adjustments are easily done, lateral adjustments not too far behind and door removal/installation very straight forward.

The paranoid part?  That someone might actually lean on, or pull themselves up by the doors!  So I fit a pair of these:
