NG3 lower control arm mount
« on: Saturday,August 13, 2016, 01:17:01 PM »
I'll be getting my new NG3 trans soon and was wondering how you mount the lower control arms that went from the 336 bracket to the hubs.  I also have the Banks twin link set up. I was told that the 336 original bracket could be modified to fit the NG3 but no details. Any thoughts??????    Thanks.  Tom

I didn't go from the 336 to the NG3, but going from the 365 to the NG3 was pretty straightforward. I would expect that if modifications are needed for the inner mount (on the tranny), they would be fairly minor, but that's just a guess. I might test fit it when you get the new tranny and if it isn't obvious, give Richard a call.

Here's a couple of views of the bracket mounted on a 365 and ng3 tranny. I couldn't see any obvious mods to the ng3 bracket. The transaxle came from Banks, and they modified my bracket. 4 fins on the ng3 transaxle have been cut down - visible in the photo -  maybe they just check to see if bracket clears the fins?
I can remove them and compare if you need.
