« on: Saturday,April 02, 2016, 12:22:47 PM »
Hello all,

Ive just fitted the Sebring mirror bases on the TC, got them from R Dent, expensive getting them to the uk, but worth it, makes the car correct, and I can now "almost" see whats behind me!!
Now for the 2 heater hoses replacement!!

Looks great! That looks like the original mirror - with a pot metal cover! I don't think you can get them any more! They're plastic now.

Which heater hoses are you replacing?

I am replacing all of them next week and have ordered 6ft of 1/2" tube on eBay.

The heard ones are from the tunnel to the heater matrix. I put curved copper gas tube inside to get the correct 90' bends.

When I replaced mine Richard from Banks advised that when changing the ones to the heater matrix to reverse them, so the left pipe goes to the right heater matrix pipe and the left to the right.  This reverses the flow around the heater.  It is also way easier to do and doesn't require a tight 90 deg bend in the pipe.

Due to do mine this weekend, so I will try that. 1/2" hose is not expensive if straight !
