It's a Toyota engine.   I think it was made in the 80s.

ha! I saw the 'lotus' on the valve cover, and just assumed... went and looked up some pics of the Toyota engine. yup, that's it.

Summer's coming. Prime sports car selling season. I decided to drop the price another grand. I need my garage back and I really don't want the car living outside!

That seems very cheap. I think that would be a 20-30k GBP car in the UK or maybe more... hard to price because it's a rare model, but modified.

Yes, Jim B S1 is a very nice one indeed.  He did an excellent job.  I think the car is now in CA.  Does anyone know who and where in CA?
