While looking for parts, I came across this model on eBay and thought it might be of interest to someone who discovered their car in a barn. I found mine in one, but it's an S2 :-\

I saw that as well and thought about doing one as a winter time work bench project.

One of my favorite resources online is the free daily e-mail newsletter I get from www.mycarquest.com. The guy who put it together, Mike Gulett, has been on the warpath for about a year about BARN FINDS! It is interesting how much more somebody will pay for a car covered in all of this detritous of years and years of neglect and abuse. Without which, of course, I wouldn't have been able to afford my S-2!! I would sure like to know where people draw the line on how this increases a car's value! I saw the listing too, but as long as my model is polished and looking good, I wouldn't dare screw it up like the model in the listing.

My car was a "barn Find" in El Centro, California. It had been sitting for 10 + years when I rescued it.
