This Europa was up for sale a while ago and I sent the seller a message but never heard back. I figured it either sold quickly or was a scam. Now it’s back up for sale. Same photos and limited info. I contacted the seller and asked for more photos and info. He replied within a minute that it would be sold before he could do that. I then asked for the VIN#. It took him over 30 minutes to reply with this #72082598R. Not a photo of the ownership registration or the VIN plate just a number matching a 1972 Europa built in August of that year.
Does anyone know this car or the photos? Anyone else see this one or other cars offered that seemed too good to be true?

To protect yourself, you can pay the shipping company and they pay the vendor when they collect the car.
I found that out after I had been scammed for $11,000 on a car in Florida that never got shipped.
CA$3,000 sounds far too good to be true.
The 123,456 kms seems a bit strange.
Be very careful.

They didn’t even spell Europa correctly ….
I vote scam.

I agree - scam.
Look at his FB profile. Joined 2025, no posts, no friends, no personal photos. Works at: "garbage man"?
Also, I'm pretty sure that car (or another one with the cheesy World Champion sticker) was posted many moons ago and I don't think in Canada.
Finally, for grins, ask what payment he'll accept. If he only takes Zelle, it's a huge red flag. Sucks money right out of your bank account with no recourse!

The seller has not contacted me with any further info since early this morning. So, I reported this ad as a scam. I doubt anything will be done as Facebook (Meta) isn’t policing posts like it should. Just beware of telltale signs like too good to be true prices.

Same car is also listed in Norcross, GA for $9000

etc

Same guy that can’t spell Europa
-
So far, a black TCS and a yellow 5 speed 1965 S1.
Any bets on the next type and colour?
Any bets on spelling mistakes?
Any bets on other strange features?

Definitely S2, seats and vertical bit under the sill. Shaved signal lamps put it's build date to December 1968 at the earliest (car 1066 was the end of the S1 style body).
