I can't remember where I posted a Lotus that was offered to me from a family members neighbor. The heirs were going to take control of the sale, but..., now, I got a call that I should make an offer or look at it. I plan to do that in the next couple of days.
I'll post pictures of course.
I really can't handle another car. :FUNNY:

Dave,
I think I see some 4-Post lifts in your future. How about one of those Double-Wide versions.
Maybe you can get the expanding Loti stable to suitable "next" owners.
Save what you can.

I’m thinking of💁🙅🏼. Enough said .🤣
BUT,
If it’s an Elan , all bets off.

Well lets hope for the best outcome for you

what a shame it isn't an Elan but it was only a wish

A real barn find, in this case a man cave. A hidden treasure absent from our S2 registry, an early type 65 S/N 652618 built in 11/69. Non federal ( no side lights front and rear)
Here is my first glimpse …
Then not driven since 1981
Battery still in place with no keys in view. 4 flat tires. No accident damage or low curbs just some small cracks in front he rear screen area. Bumpers and rear luggage bin included.
Ashtray … included 😃
. Let me know your thoughts or bids.

That'll be enough of that defeatist talk, thank you very much. :FUNNY:

Well, I guess that basket case is not worthless! ;D
Those ashtrays are so valuable that I think I saw where somebody was producing reproductions!

Repro ashtray is real, and expensive.
I guess it is a good thing that car is too far away to be practical for me.
It seems in many ways to be a better beginning than the one I have spent $OMG! on.
In reality it seems frame-up is the only way to go on these cars, so that does not look so bad.
An undamaged body-shell seems to be very rare.

Richard,
I agree, it is a good candidate to bring back to life. It is all original and no real damage. I know I have a lot of projects on my plate but I think this could be a good candidate to rebuild.
I’ll take pictures of the frame, if anyone wants I’ll inflate the tires and Jack it up. I’ll help in anyway that I can.

You will need a lot of love and tender care to get this rare find back to normal...best of luck

Bud,
I'm just trying to get it to a new home. I've been told about its existence for years. Placing a value on an item is not in my wheelhouse, many of you have followed my build for years , this would be the same but with many unknowns.
