Wasn't this car just on BaT a few weeks ago? Now back on Craigslist.

Sorry I failed to follow up on Kendo’s question. I have long believed (and now have seen proof) that some sellers have friends (or they themselves have other accounts) that push the bids along. In this case I think this seller has got caught twice with a “no sale” due to it being a friend or himself who placed said bids. By having the buyer appear to back out they are only out the 5% bidder’s fee if the account used an actual valid credit card. I am assuming this is what was done with this car. Both sales fell way short of the seller’s perceived value of his car.

I’m glad I don’t need to sell my car any time soon. It’s a real jungle out there.

Here in the UK prices seem to be softening.
