Vin Number: 65/2936 originally invoiced 1/21/1970 with engine #821-30/0797 and 4 Speed. Still has original (but tired) L05 "Carnival Red" color. Sold by dealer, says it has clean title (previous owner logged as Eric Ready back in 2010, still in Palm Springs area).
Definitely a project to put back right, it is running and shifts through gears, but brakes not working and needs a LOT of "TLC" - starting with interior, or what's left of it.

The engine does sound good and starts up easily. There is shine on a lot of that red paint so it might be able to be made really nice. I think it has potential to be a really nice project. Being a California car, rust shouldn't be a big concern.

Aughhh , RUN
They obviously didn'tt know how to jack up the car and cracked the fiberglass in several spots. How did they place that jack under the center of the car both front and back?
The car looked good until they showed the interior. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN??? Tacho and speedometer INOP.
Okay,... Ill shut up now. WHAT NO ASHTRAY.....

Yeah, second to last pic with the car way up on the single stand at the rear is terrifying, they didn't even get it centered.

Hello Everyone.
I saw this car in Palm Springs in 2016. It was parked out side with car covered but in desert heat. Windshield wasn't installed and something wrong with wiring at the time. I saw it again last weekend at Dodi Monterey. It needs new interior for sure.

This the same Palm Springs car that sold from this site a little over A year ago.
I did some work on it checking over the wiring and getting it running.
Dodi should have let me bring it home to work on, and it would be a decent driver now.
Unless it grew legs and walked away, he does have the ashtray.
Nice to see he finally got the glass in, I guess.
I had advised him to leave it out until the paint was done.
Body appears to have never been hit but I would repaint it.
Maybe some roundels and just drive it?
Brakes are the easiest repair on the car!
