This one may look better than it is. I hope to be proven wrong: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-lotus-europa-twin-cam-19/

Looks to be a decent driver that needs a little cosmetic work. I quite like the colour.

It is a late model with cloth seat inserts, it will have a map pocket between the seats, and the engine cover struts to hold the cover up.

Chassis number probably after 4300R.

Just seen 4695R the 6 last one exported to the USA.

Go for it, you won't find one with better potential.

If the car is running with no serious omissions or faults, IMHO it is worth top dollar.

It's hard to tell what condition the frame is in and the bits underneath look neglected, for example a tie rod end is missing it's boot.  It might be my imagination, but I think I can see a rusty perforation in the frame in picture 109.

Good eye, gideon! It does look like it could have rusted through there. Hopefully not because if there is rust there, there easily could be rust elsewhere.

What looked like it could be serious rust, ended up being nothing. There was a lot of surface rust that would have to be addressed in the next few years if it's garaged.

It finally went for $19,850 which I think is a pretty fair price. A buddy of mine was bidding on it but he had to let it go.
