I was driving my Europa this morning and this thing fell from under the dashboard
anyone knows what it’s for where it goes

Update !! It’s the retainer for the speedometer !!

That holds either the speedo or tach to the back of the dashboard. Should have 2 for each gauge.

Look for the round knurled nut and very small spring washer that fell off to allow the clip to fall off the back of the tacho or speedo.
