Title: 1970 S2 on eBay @$9.5K - Seen Much Better Days Well Into the Past
Post by: Vegantune on Monday,June 17, 2024, 10:33:17 PM
A whole lot of $$ for what you get. Says engine is apart, but all of it and all of the trim is there in boxes. But after sitting for who knows how long, no telling what deteriorated condition things are in. If anything like the what's shown in photos, probably rough to marginal at best.

Figure a big pile of cash would have to be thrown at it to revive. That, or just keep shoping for some other car not nearly so needy, and also better priced. That Hemmings '74 TCS went for less that 2X this asking price, looked good, and was driveable.

This is a boomerang listing. Reported as sold back in March with a BIN price of $8,500.  https://www.ebay.com/itm/186315766889?

So, when a sale blows up for some reason, of course the next thing to do is - raise the price!
