Historic Lotus Register are planning a meeting on Sunday 30th June 2024 if anyone in the south of the UK is interested.
170 Lotus owners have expressed an interest.

That gives me an incentive to try to get my TC on the road!

Ditto 4688R, it is quite special. 145BHP, ally seats, ally tanks, vent discs front, discs rear, Minilites and Yokohama sticky rubber.

Anyone going?
I am tempted if the weather is dry.
It is at SG11 postcode.
N.B. it is on Sunday 30th.
The weather is looking warmer and dry around then.

Just returned from a 200 mile round trip.
77 Lotus cars were there, mainly 7s, Elans (both types), with 2 Lotus Cortinas, 2 Emiras, 1 Electra (horrible box) and just 2 Europas my TCS and an S2.
Word is they have exported 19 Evijas, mainly to the Gulf States and the USA.
Most expensive car, an A frame Lotus Cortina with ally doors bonnet and boot, worth about £100k. Most interesting car there, Graham Hill's silver Elan +2, most horrible and newest, the Electra. The 2 Emiras, 1 had the 3.5 Toyota engne, with manual gearbox, the other a 2 litre Merc turbo engine with flappy paddles.

Here are some photos taken with my drone called "Gary" after Gary Powers, a famous aerial photographer.
Behind my Lagoon Blue 3089R, which took 8 months to register and has new 2 ally tanks, is a silver +2 with a carboard cut-out of Graham Hill who was given this car for winning the F1 championship in 1968.
I am sitting on my left wing.

It looks like it was a very nice event! You and Gary acquitted yourselves well!
I thought it was strange to see the un-Lotus cars there but then, I belong to the local MG club so I think it's nice to see an extended comradery but maybe you were stretching it to accepting a Saab Sonnet! ;D
