Title: Relisted: 4th Time for 1972 TC Parts Car Kludge on eBay
Post by: Vegantune on Thursday,April 06, 2023, 11:10:35 AM
Frankenkludge is back again for another 30 days on eBay. This mess didn't sell three times previously. 1st & 2nd were auctions that didn't make reserve. Then put flat price of $14,950 and removed the best parts (Holbay block & crank, Wilwood calipers). Now its round #4, same higher price of $14,950/no auction. SMH. Heaven knows if it comes with even less now, but if he keeps taking parts out, all that will eventually be left is 1/2 mile of red bungee cord.

'72 TC (not TCS), 336 gearbox, some '74 interior bits, one aftermarket Lockheed booster, paint & dash are a pathetic, missing many key/hard-to-find parts including glass.

Except for the one bungee holding the doors closed, the forest of bungies looks like it’s holding down a tarp in those few pictures. So, add “years spent outdoors under a tarp” to its charms?

I have quite a lot of knowledge of TC and TCS, having rebuilt 7, but I think it would take me about 2 hours to examine the car and the removed parts to work out what is missing, and then you would have to see if those missing parts were made from unobtainium.

Far too many unknowns.
