Hard for me to see in pictures, but is the chassis cracked or rusted through at the rear end where it Y's? What have similar cars been selling for recently? Don't want this! But curious.

:I-agree:
If it were here in the states I would go for it. Frame is questionable, Body even after a poor paint job,
cracks everywhere ,but unmolested. I have an extra engine and gearbox so I can overlook that as waste. The interior is just trash , glass good? 1500 seems top dollar.
Just my opinion

Yes I see the bolts on the transmission mounting U. The front of the engine cover is broken off, (backwards towing?). Intake / exhaust manifold is off. They will be lucky to get over $2,000.

Back up for sale again. This time, no auction, no reserve, asking $8950, and will take offers. Still plenty missing and very rough. Restoration would be quite expensive. Better to find a lot less needy car if you want a runner. Maybe it will come back yet again priced as a parts car? Would make more sense. https://www.ebay.com/itm/325392794938

"Porsche" magic now applied to Europa's?
Seem to be seeing lot of very overpriced cars lately.
But even those I see as fairly priced are not selling.
Just glad I already have mine!

Totally agree, Richard. Some hoping this is a hidden gold mine just waiting to be discovered. But honestly there's a much broader market for Porsche, including Saturday country club golf course crowd who don't know what a cam follower or a DCOE is. I'd rather Europas not go that price direction. More Europas go up in price, the more potential parts donor cars switch course to become restoration projects, then no longer add to parts supply but instead want to buy them. Both drive up and dry up the used parts supply.
My car has never been about what it it worth in dollars, but what its worth to me in driving satisfaction. So zero desire to pay more for insurance on a car I'm not selling. I think that is the majority of Europa owners. But doesn't keep some from imagining they see big $ or £ signs in their dreams, and hope to cash in.
