Title: Twin Cam gray paint?

What color gray paint is supposed to be used on the Twin Cam (mine was painted orange and I have nothing to go by...)?

I have never seen a grey (gray) Europa.

What does the paintcode say on the VIN plate next to the heater fan in the front plenum chamber?

Not sure, but I think he means the engine

This is what I use.  It looks good and lasts pretty well.  I primed it first with the vht engine paint primer.

How 'bout that?  Mine is orange too (but it's not coming out for a paint job!).
