Title: how much torque connecting rod

im installing my connecting rods the torque settings says main bearings 40 to 50 that would be the crankshaft but i didn’t see for connecting rods the bolts look pretty small compared to main bearings
can’t find torque setting

Lotus manual says 30 lb. ft.

is it 30 lbs ft for a Renault motor which is what califkid is working on AFAIK

Swift got it right. For whatever reason, it isn't included in the Technical Specifications section like other torque specs.  According to the S1/S2 Workshop manual, it is 30 ft-lbs. See attachment.

thanks i dont have that workshop manuel i have a bunch of books but no info on connecting rods
so 30 ft pounds it is !!
