Converting my brake Master Cylinder to a 5/8 Tilton. Need some help. Where is the brake light connected to the pedal?
-
The brake light switch is in the tee by the RH radius arm attachment point to the chassis.
-
PS: Might be LH side on a TC with boosters.
-
On my TCS, it is on the top of the frame “leg” on the left near the battery. It might be handy to note that the threads are 3/8 - 24 not 1/8 NPT like many are.
-
As you have probably gathered its not connected to the pedal, it's a pressure activated switch connected to the brake lines in the rear engine compartment.

By the way, I have done that same conversion and removed both boosters and I like the pedal. I never drove the car with the power brakes so I can't compare.
