TurboFource had mentioned a turbocharged TC. Does anyone know the details about that build?

I like the novelty of it and I have a Europa that needs complete restoration. Thanks for the document. I'll read thru it. TurboFource, do you have in progress pictures of yours? Any design specs?

After looking thru the document, this would hardly be worth doing to get to 150hp. If the design is brought up to date, what hp would you expect to make?

It's not just the HP increase with forced induction. You get the same increase in torque. If you run 7.5 psi you are increasing the air pressure 50%. Not that you get get a full 50% increase in power but close.

JB posted a link to my build a couple of posts before this one. It was estimated my motor made around 200hp as it would build boost to over 10lbs (with spikes up to 14). There are pics of the system (I will be updating and simplifying things with a more modern turbo. I plan to leave it draw through carbureted in the spirit of the original build). I have owned several 4 cylinder turbo cars and you if haven't driven one all I can say is it really livens things up 8)

In your opinion, is trying to make a turbo Europa from the twin cam motor viable. Would need mods for fuel injection, airflow metering, manifold, electronic ignition and an ECU. Less worried about the exhaust side other than turbo placement. Thoughts? And would the outcome be worthwhile other than the novelty?

Doing it old Skool like it was built in 1975 with a carb and just electronic ignition and water/methanol injection. Updating turbo and will probably use Snow Performance programmable water/methanol injection. Will probably add simple boost retard to ignition also.

A lot of turbo cars make more ft lbs of torque than hp.....
