Hi again guys.
Here is yet another question, this time regarding the fuse box. My fuse box is hanging loose by just the wires. Should it be attached to something? It looks like the heater is the closest thing to screw into, but I bet if I sink a screw it will hit the heater core and leak antifreeze.
Should then fuse box be hanging free or should I mount it to something?
Thanks,

IIRC, the fuse box is attached to a small metal strap that is attached to the vertical side of the tunnel just behind (on the US versions, the passenger side) of the dash. To try to clarify, it is mounted vertically and faces toward the passenger foot well. It should definitely be attached to something. The original place was high enough so that it wasn't easily seen by a casual viewer but could be accessed when you really needed it. It might require moving the flap of the console cover a bit.
I hope that helps!

Pop rivet a 1" x 4" metal strap vertically to the right side of the tunnel.
The fuse box attaches with 2 self tapping screws to this vertical strap. So drill the holes in the strap using the fuse box as a template, before you fit the strap to the tunnel.
Been there, done that, not an uncommon problem for it to be missing.
The strap goes very close to where the heater pipe emerges from the tunnel.

4129R and BDA thank you both. I found the strap. I has only one screw hole at the top but that should be enough to keep it in place. Thank you very much.

Speaking for 4129R, I'm glad we could help! :beerchug:
