Here is the first question now that my car is running. There are three screws on the top of the door jamb. Are they a sheet metal screw or are they threaded into something in the roof? I want to unscrew them and replace them with stainless screws. I don't want to unscrew them and something come apart that could be painful to put back. Does anybody know?

The 3 screws hold the sun shades. Mine only has 2 screws.

If I remove the screws do I need to drop the headliner to replace them?

Your car might be different , mine are exposed.

I see the screw heads. If I remove the screws do I need to get behind them to hold a nut or anything. Can I just remove and replace them? I do not see the back side of the screw.

Speaking of a TC, and I suspect the S2s are the same, there should be four screws - some might be obscured by the door seal. Two are sheet metal screws that hold up the trim piece above the door and the other two are to hold up the visor frame. There is a nut on the other end of those. By taking off the trim piece, you gain access to the nuts to take off the visor frame.

Thank you.
