The Jalopnik article is in their "nice price or crack pipe" series. I voted 'nice price'. What else could I do?

Incidentaly the NP:CP ratio stands at 59:41 which suggests the asking price is about right, but could have started a little higher. Does it belong to anyone on here?

I can't believe how many people are slamming the Europa in the replies.

I was a bit surprised there were that many crack pipe votes, too. I can only guess that Jalopnik caters to people who drive Mustangs and Camaros.
What a difference between Jalopnik and the magazine that called the Europa one of the ugliest cars of the '60s. Jalopnik even knew what the original hose clamps looked like!

Jalopnik actually did a great job on their take on the Europa.

Opinions are like...you know how the saying goes.
I'll bet most of those blokes offering a negative view have never driven one. Let them have their say and leave the rest of us to enjoy the feeling of being one with the road.

You have to remember the target audience of these kinds of things... My quick reading of this comment list has a frighting number of comments like this, " I had never heard of this car til I played gran turismo on playstation. It handled like crap in the game so thumbs down"...
back to school with you little children... They probably get driven there by their mommies who own the newest toyota camry with the fake 4 tip exhaust....

It's a commentary on the mentality that tends hang out at the jalopnik site. A read of the comments show that about half have no clue what they are talking about. They make BMWs for these people. ;)
