Rear track measurement 1974 Special. Does anyone know this measurement and where measured from? I would think outside of drum to drum? Cannot find in shop manuals. Thanks

Those dimensions are in the TC workshop supplement in the Technical Data section. (http://www.lotus-europa.com/manuals/tcwork/tech/tctech.pdf)
It doesn't say how it's measured though. I suspect there is a standard way to measure it and the interweb would be able to tell you.

I use a Dunlop tracking gauge, same as at the front. I make sure that the rear wheels are also "centred" to the car by placing a long straight edge against the tires and making sure it ends up at the same position relative to the body on each side. An aluminium extrusion works well as long as you use the same edge side to side.

Found it, I was not in the correct part of the manual. Appears 53"? I thought between outside of drum to drum, but 53" make no sense anywhere I measure?

Track is measured center of tire to center of tire when looking in plan:

Different or non-stock wheels may change the track width if the offset isn't the same as the stock wheel.
