I am replacing my manifold gasket tomorrow, what is the torque setting for the studs?

Which engine?

Thanks for the link, turns out my tubular header is cracked. Looks like Dave Bean has them so off the road for a bit.

R D Enterprises also has Renault headers.

Make sure the header you buy has a very thick flange where it attaches to the head. The Renault engine doesn't have many attachment studs and is a little more prone to blowing it's manifold gasket. Once you have the header, the first thing you should do is take it to a machine shop and have the mounting flange surfaced to make sure it is perfectly plane.

Just looking to source headers for my R16. What I have is a cast manifold that combines the inlet and exhaust in 1 part.
What is the recommended way to do headers? Retain the single part flange, or split them into separate intake and exhaust?
