Title: U-Shaped Trim Windshield install

Previously posted in wrong place.

I purchased RD front windshield trim that has a U-shaped piece that should go around the edge of the windshield.  It does, but does not stay on while installing.  What should I use to hold it in place while installing the windshield.  I plan to use butyl to install windshield.  Thanks.....

Don't use butyl.  It's a good sealant and a very poor adhesive.  Do use a modern windshield adhesive.
