New member, Live in The Netherlands and in winter in Florida.
At thi s moment I am restoring a Saab V4 from 1967 which is nearly finihed, so,
A month ago I bought a Lotus europa, basket case.
Car has Fl title chassis nr 1084 R, only not found number on chassis yet.
Previous owners started to make it into a track car, so they made a roll cage, and made some other changes to the rear suspension.
The body was destroyed, but I got the car with a nice body. Also got a Renault engine, that looks like it is overhauled, but not sure what is done to it.
Also got brand new valve sets in different sizes, in Renault boxes.
And 3 extra doors, 2 bonnets, and a rear bonett.

The chassis number is hard to find on the chassis. It is by the right hand fuel tank where the coil and the 6v ballast resister for the coil were originally mounted.
Even with the chassis removed it is hard to see in daylight.
It is stamped into the top part of the chassis rail.

:Welcome: Hey Bert
There are a couple of Europa owners that live in the Ft. Lauderdale area. I own a 72 TCS. Another guy on this forum lives in Ft Lauderdale and owns an immaculate TCS, plus there is an S1 owner and an S2 owner locally. A couple of Europas next store in Palm Beach county also. So there is local support when you get going on that Europa.

Welcome, Bert :)
The chassis number is difficult to find. The picture shows the location which is close to the main radiator pipe attachment on the right chassis leg.

Welcome Bert!
:Welcome:
I Can’t wait to see some pictures of your build .
If you want to sell some of those items you can list them in the classified section FS parts. Things go fast there.
If you have an apple iPhone your pictures can be sent to your email and it will ask what size you want to send it . Then save it from your email in photos. It’s resized.
