John, your lotus library is second to none and I for one hope you have many back -ups . I am building a Europa page on pinterest just to preserve their heritage. The pics you just posted i have not seen before.
I also have most of the the pictures of every europa on the registry that were uploaded by the owners by build number. Guess I just love these cars!

But all the 47s I have seen are RHD. That's why I think it is a 46.

There was ate least one LHD 47: 47 GT 73. As this was a Swiss car and the picture shows some Austrian commercial on the van behind the car this could well be this 47. At least the beginning of the wheel arch looks like the one on the photo shown of #73 on Johannes Ditz page:
