I thought since the frame is bare, except for these 2 sections of pipe, I might as well replace them. If I don't, I know one or the other, or both will spring a leak in the frame tunnel shortly after (if ever) I get car reassembled.
At the frame 'Y'. I can see where they are tack welded. It appears they are tack welded inside the tunnel, at the 90 degree bend where they come up thru the frame?
How to cut them loose?
Thanks in advance

Mine were tack welded where they poke through the chassis near the heater box and where they exit at the rear. Nothing in-between.

Same with mine, tack welded at the ends. I'm leaving mine intact as they seem to be on good condition. (of course now that I said that I might regret not changing them out)

Mine tested fine until they had hot, pressurized coolant in them. If you have the engine and transaxle out, just change them.

Thanks for the info.
I thought it may be prudent to replace.

Who stocks the pipes other than Banks

I've not actually looked. I thought about just getting some tubing and having it bent.
