Title: piston for Renault Engine

I need a single piston assembly for a 1.6 litre Renault engine.  Don't tell me they come in matched pairs with the liners!   The bore of the liner is 77 mm and the diameter of the piston is 70 mm - what's to match?  Just a Lotus sales ploy to fleece us proles.............

I will even buy a second hand one in good condition, I have the rings and bearings.

Ok, more information please.

What is the engine number on the side of the block?

Is it a cross flow engine?

You say a 77 mm liner bore and the piston is 70 mm.  One of those dimensions is incorrect.

Where did you measure the liner?

I have heaps of second hand pistons to suit a 1565cc engine. 77mm bore.

Mainly R16TS and R15TL cross flow. No 821 pistons
